My Reminder

We didn't have confirmation tonight, but one of the confirmation small groups hosted a lasagna dinner. It turned out to be a fun reminder of why I am blessed to be a part of youth ministry. They had the dinner to raise money to buy a family gifts, etc. for Christmas. They're sponsoring a family this year so they can have a nice Christmas. Pretty impressive for 15 year old women. Not only is that a cool thing, but I got to spend a little time with most of them and they are just really great people. The only slight downside is that I learned that even though I may have added "Pastor" to my title, I am still clearly fair game for plenty of teasing....it's kind of fun.
